Meghan Markle has unveiled her first Christmas collection for her As Ever brand, featuring a $64 candle and an $89 bottle of wine.

Two Signature Candles: One Inspired By The Scent Of Her Montecito Home, Another By Meghan’s Wedding Day

The Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram earlier today to reveal her new holiday-inspired product line. She’s releasing two candles: one inspired by her wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018.

The stomach-churning description for the first candle (No. 519) reads,

“Modern and elegant. Love at first light. No. 519 is the feeling of warm sunshine and blue skies, surrounded by love and laughter; this signature candle is inspired by the ease and joy of a day that holds Meghan’s most cherished memories-her wedding day.”

According to the Daily Mail, “Candle No. 519 is scented with Moroccan mint, cardamom, and tea leaves, which apparently evokes the freshness of a day in the English countryside and captures the ‘ease and joy’ of Meghan’s wedding day.”

Of course, there was no mention of Meghan’s infamous argument with Kate Middleton in which she made the Princess of Wales cry. The feud was over the fit of Princess Charlotte’s wedding dress.

Apparently, Meghan went off on a “royal tangent,” reducing Catherine to tears. Meghan claims to this day that the opposite is true. However, as the late Queen Elizabeth II would say, “Recollections may vary.”

Another candle is inspired by her August 4th birthday. “Signature candle No. 084” smells like a mix of sandalwood, water lotus, and California poppy.

It is described as “The signature scent that warms Meghan’s family home.” It is said to provoke an “elegant and fresh fragrance.” The candle is a direct reference to the Duchess’s actual birth date: August 4, 1981.

Meghan Launches A New Wine: A Vintage Napa Valley Brut

Of course, Meghan’s Christmas collection wouldn’t be complete without some new vino to get into the “festive spirit.” Meghan’s new wine is a Vintage Napa Valley Brut. However, her customers will need to shell out an additional $20 for “12 bottles or fewer.”

    The website describes the wine,

“A fresh, complex sparkling crafted from Napa Valley pinot noir and chardonnay grapes using the traditional Méthode Champenoise, our 2021 Vintage Brut is a special wine from a favorable year.”

    The explanation continues,

“Ideal for celebrating an engagement, achievement, or reunion. This one -of a -kind cuvee comes dressed to the nines in a matte black neck label embossed with a gold logo and gilded details.”

    Ugh.

Another item included in Meghan’s latest As Ever offerings is a Hot Toddy Mulling Kit. It contains cinnamon, ginger, and citrus peel. The kit is $16. She’s also launching a mulling spice kit for cider.

Meghan prefers to sip her hot toddy with her so-called “loved ones.” Meghan is also offering a festive As Ever gift set containing Meghan’s fruit spreads, including a new strawberry flavor. It also includes orange marmalade and, of course, her syrupy raspberry spread.

She also added a $32 Sage Honey with Honeycomb to the gift set. The gift set costs $42 and comes in an As Ever box.

Prince Harry and Meghan have celebrated Christmas in Montecito, California, with their children, Archie and Lilibet, since 2019.

The last time Harry and Meghan spent Christmas with the royal family in Sandringham was in 2018.
