British Royal Family News says that now President-elect Joe Biden will be moving in to the White House on January 20th, there’s a good chance that Meghan Markle might capitalize on Prince Harry’s close relationship with the new First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden. Here’s what you need to know.
Prince Harry and Dr. Jill Biden first met back in 2013 when the Duke toured the U.S. They quickly struck up a friendship and years later Jill attended the inaugural Invictus games in London, an event that both she and Joe Biden supported in 2016 and 2017.
Sources close to the situation say that Harry and Jill have bonded over the military, as the Duke of Sussex served in the British army for 10 years while Jill’s late son Beau was a major in the U.S. military.

Back in 2014, Joe Biden even joked about his wife’s close relationship with the prince. He said at the time, “My wife was with Prince Harry at the Invictus Games. And I read in the Guardian, or one of them, and it says – I’m paraphrasing – everywhere Prince harry went, he had this blonde woman on his arm. The Vice President’s wife! I’m a little worried here, you know what I mean?”
Seeing how Prince Harry has a close relationship with the new First Lady, some critics believe that Meghan Markle might see this as a new path to Washington, D.C. Apparently, the former Suits star has her eye on the White House.
And she’s quite serious about it, too. One source close to the Duchess of Sussex made the comments in a new interview with Vanity Fair.
“One of the reasons she was so keen not to give up her American citizenship was so she had the option to go into politics,” the unidentified friend told the mag.
“I think if Meghan and Harry ever gave up their titles she would seriously consider running for president,” the friend added of rumors of a 2024 run. “Meghan is the embodiment of the American dream. One day we may see Meghan become president,” the author said.
