While there’s no doubt that this Presidential election has been like no other, it seems like fans are having one heck of a time counting one flub after another from both parties and both sides of the divide. This time around political fans can’t help but get a chuckle over former Vice President Joe Biden confusing the Philadelphia Eagles with a chicken emblem on his jacket. Here’s what you need to know.
The Democratic nominee for the White House confused the Eagles logo with the emblem of his own undergraduate university at a campaign rally in Philadelphia this weekend. While the crowd – who were mostly inside their cars – could not see exactly what was on his jacket, the press certainly did.
Joe Biden Confused The Philadelphia Eagles With A Chicken
“I know Philadelphia well,” the former vice president told the crowd at a drive-in rally in a church parking lot. “I married a Philly girl by the way and by the way got my Eagle’s jacket on.”
Of course, it didn’t take very long for President Trump’s campaign to comment on the flub. “I hope all of my fellow @Eagles fans saw Joe Biden claim to be wearing an Eagles jacket today in Philly,” Trump campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh. “It was a Delaware Blue Hens jacket,” he said. As if the Philadelphia Eagles weren’t having a hard time this season already, right?
Just last month Joe Biden said that over 210 million people had died from Covid-19, when that actual number is about 210,000. But that isn’t the first time he flubbed his numbers. Back in June, he also claimed that 120 million died of the virus.
President Trump has been playing videos of Biden’s blunders during his campaign rallies across the country.
