Can this year get any worse for the Sussexes? Maybe, maybe not. There’s a new report that says Meghan Markle has removed all references to her now axed-animation “Pearl” after Netflix decided to pull the plug on the project. Apparently, the online streamer has canceled development on “Pearl,” an animated series created by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, marking the latest cost-saving moves. Here’s what you need to know.

Last year the series was described as a family series that centers on the adventures of a 12-year-old girl who finds inspiration in a variety of influential women throughout history. The cancellation is part of strategic decisions Netflix is making around animated series. “Pearl,” which was announced last year, is among several projects to be dropped.

And now it seems like Meghan is scrubbing away the bad vibes on her end, as a prior description of the series under the Archewell Productions section of its website is nowhere to be found. “Like many girls her age, our heroine Pearl is on a journey of self-discovery as she tries to overcome life’s daily challenges,” a now-removed quote from Meghan read.

And while there is some good news for Harry and Meghan fans, there’s bad news, too. The good news is that the couple has decided that they will take their children Archie and Lilibet to London next month to visit Queen Elizabeth during her Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The bad news is that Harry and Meghan, along with Prince Andrew, will not be standing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during all of the festivities. Ho-hum. We have a feeling that the Sussexes will just release a photo of their kids meeting their great-grandmother at the time and call it a day.
