Meghan Markle is overestimating her acting chops. She is planning a major Hollywood comeback. The problem is, to have a “comeback,” you would have needed to make a memorable first impression.
The legal drama “Suits” was an above-average show. It was well-written, full of witty banter between the characters and some highly amusing storylines.

However, Markle’s role as Rachel Zane lacked substance. She played a supporting character at best. Her primary purpose was to be the token good-looking female lawyer. She succeeds at that.
However, if you expect a noteworthy performance on her part, you may be disappointed because she barely misses the mark. She has some good chemistry with the rest of the cast, but other than that, she fails to impress.
Part of the reason Meghan Markle dragged Harry away from his family is that she wanted to move back to California to be near Hollywood and try to get her big break.
Lately, The Duchess of Sussex has been working on rebranding her image since becoming a “princess” wasn’t what she had hoped.
Markle signed with the talent agency WME and is vying for a role in Kevin Costner’s upcoming four-part Western.
Meghan Markle may not understand she is only known for one role. She’s a one-trick pony with some seriously lofty ambitions.
Meghan Markle’s Road to Mediocrity
Meghan and Harry need to make money to afford the life they have become accustomed to. It’s been three years since the couple left the monarchy, and they are still floundering.
Harry & Meghan was a highly anticipated Netflix docuseries, watched by millions, but failed to generate much critical acclaim.
The series did manage to drop some significant bombshells and took viewers on a journey of the romance between Harry and Meghan.
The show received negative reviews but was still a smash hit for Netflix. It had the fastest-streamed docuseries debut in Netflix’s history.
All this doesn’t quite equal what it would entail for Markle to make the “comeback” she longs for. This is why there is speculation that she has been circling Kevin Costner, quite literally like an old Western.
The problem is that she’s not going to go from a show like “Suits” to snagging a role that she thinks will give her the kind of heat she’s looking for.
Meghan Markle’s Plans May Not Work Out
Meghan is planning a massive career move, but it may be doomed to fail. She is simply not well-liked enough for people to root for her.
The Duchess of Sussex could take a cue from Britney Spears and write a tell-all memoir. That would certainly garner attention.
At least that way, she could make a ton of cash because people will read it, hoping they can find more reasons to dislike her. Or to read about her personal life.
Individuals have warned Meghan that her reputation has been “damaged beyond repair.” That doesn’t seem to be discouraging her. She surrounds herself with her famous friends to get publicity and attention.
Harry and Meghan are poised to make their move. The question is not if she wins an Academy Award but whether Meghan can regain her “fifteen minutes of fame.”
