The British Royal Family needs fresh recruits to remain strong. Prince Andrew’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie, are currently not working representatives of the Royal Family but should be promoted due to the aging monarchy.
These two sisters could be the answer to King Charles’s prayers. His Majesty the King is almost 75, and he will soon need help to bolster the Firm.
Beatrice and Eugenie Are First in Line for Royal Family
There are not enough members of the Firm to undertake royal engagements. Beatrice and Eugenie are first in line to handle the official business of the royal family.
The sister’s responsibilities are about to increase, as emergency meetings have been held to devise a solution to the problem of too many engagements and not enough working members.
Regarding working members, Prince William and Kate Middleton are the only senior royals under 50. They can only travel and participate so much, as they have three children: Princes George, Louis, and Princess Charlotte.
William and Kate are in Scotland working with a charity to learn how the local groups support young people’s mental health.
The Prince and Princess of Wales are taking on a lot of activities and are carrying most of the weight as they attend countless engagements for the King.
William and Kate need to take a step back from their duties so they have some family time. This much-needed break leaves a gap in the United Kingdom that needs to be filled.
The Royals need help to ensure that the monarchy runs smoothly. A source close to the royal family explains,
“There needs to be some younger blood to reach the younger generation, and the only candidates available are Beatrice and Eugenie.”
William and Kate Need Help Balancing the Work
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie can participate in the engagements alongside Willam and Kate to help balance the work.
King Charles has reportedly “copied Queen Elizabeth’s footprint,” but there is much room for improvement. If they are going to survive as a monarchy, they need fresh blood to carry on.
Richard Eden wrote in the present publication of his Palace Confidential Newsletter,
“As I have watched the King and Queen carry out engagements in East Africa, what has struck me most is that they need help. If we want this monarchy to remain as strong as it was under the late Queen, we need new recruits to the Firm.”
He continued to explain that there is a shortage of “youth and energy at the heart of the monarchy.” The King has been on the throne for well over a year and has not progressed the Firm’s mission to visit all areas of the Commonwealth he rules.
Since Queen Elizabeth took the throne at age 25, she had the energy to accomplish more in her youth than the King has at this late stage in his life.
New members of the Firm will be intreated to contribute to the responsibilities of foreign travel. It would greatly assist the monarchy if King Charles’s nieces became working royals.
