In fact, some sources close to the situation say the Duchess of Sussex took the plan personally, especially since her son Archie was going to be denied prince-ship. Meghan Markle Left ‘Angered’ Over Prince Chares’ Plan For A Slimmed-Down Monarchy
Royal biographer Angela Levin told talkRADIO said that Meghan was left none too pleased over Charles plan to slim down the monarchy, leaving key roles only for those at the center of The Firm. This means that both Prince Harry and Meghan would have been left out of the picture, with just Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince Wiliam and Kate Middleton in the spotlight. Apparently, Charles has wanted to trim down the monarchy “for a very long time” in order to “save costs and make people be worth the money that they get from the taxpayer.”
And while that never happened because both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle pulled the plug on their relationship with the royal family, many royal critics have taken to social media to comment on the matter. Some have included: “She wants to elevate her own status as the mother of a British Prince who is in-line of succession even after the divorce. Every move is calculated for her own maximum benefit,” along with, “This insufferable narcissist thinks everything is about her. Charles spoke about this for YEARS before grifter MeGain was even on the scene.”
Another critic wrote: Publicly shaming his family, lying and playing the victim does not equate with Harry’s comment that although he was hurt by his Father it was a priority to put things right. He is just bitter, nasty and jealous, he didn’t get everything in own way, such as getting all the perks without the work, so threw all his toys out of the pram.”
