Meghan Markle Has A New Best Friend And She’s Part Of The Polo Scene
The Duchess of Sussex has befriended Nacho Figueras’ wife, Delfina Blaquier. Many people know that Nacho is like a brother to Prince Harry. In fact, he’s like the brother that Harry has never had. So it makes sense that Meghan and Delfina would become fast friends.
If you haven’t heard about Delfina before, it’s because she’s certainly more popular in her native Argentina than she is in the U.S. She used to be an athlete and was even an international competitor in the women’s high jump. Delfina and Nacho got married back in 2004 and have been happy together ever since.
Meghan Markle could sure use a good friend like Delfina. She hasn’t been able to keep many by her side for too long. Even though the Duchess of Sussex always likes to surround herself with female friends, there’s a rotating door of them. The moment you do her wrong, Meghan makes sure that you are out.
Now, that’s not to say that the same thing will happen to Delfina. Harry and Nacho are almost like blood brothers. They’ve been playing polo for years. And Nacho is one of the few celebrities out there who actually stands up for Harry. So if Meghan and Delfina were to have a fight, the consequences would be devastating for everyone involved.
Meghan and Delfina Have Become Fast Friends
Each time Harry and Nacho play polo together, the wives come out to support them. And unlike the polo matches that Meghan had to attend with Kate Middleton back when Harry would play with Prince William in the UK, she actually enjoys Delfina’s company. She’s much more casual and relaxed than the Princess of Wales ever was in Meghan’s presence.
Are Delfina and Meghan going to continue to remain best friends? Only time will tell. Who knows what their real bond looks like. But if they get along well enough that they can go to polo matches and enjoy dinners together, that’s good enough for Harry and Nacho.
