In advance of the publication of his memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing,” Matthew Perry has spoken to a “few” of his “Friends” castmates.

The actor said he hopes Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and Jennifer Aniston read his book, which goes on sale Tuesday, during a Monday appearance on “Good Morning America” with George Stephanopoulos. According to Perry, “I’ve gotten some really nice texts from a few of them already, and the book isn’t even out yet.”

Perry continued to say, “So hopefully, [I get] more. It’s very important to me that I didn’t go after anyone and I wasn’t gossipy [in the book].” The foreword to Perry’s new book, which discusses his decades-long battle with addiction, was written by Kudrow, however. “He has survived impossible odds, but I had no idea how many times he almost didn’t make it,” she wrote.

Valerie Bertinelli, Perry’s “Sydney” co-star, was “mortified” by how she was portrayed in the biography. Aniston, LeBlanc, Cox, and Schwimmer, have not yet responded to the memoir. The “Hot in Cleveland” actress, 62, responded to Perry’s claim that they had had sex while she was nearby sleeping with her then-husband Eddie Van Halen through TikTok.

In the biography, Perry also talked about breaking up with Julia Roberts, having a bad date with Cameron Diaz, and having a crush on Aniston before “Friends.” It looks like there is going to be many more stories coming out of the book and we’re interested to hear what he had to say about the rest of his co-stars. We hope it was all magic and rainbows on the set and after their reunion, it felt like they were all still good friends, but I guess we’ll find out when we read Perry’s book.

What do you think? Are you going to read his new book and what do you think he will have to say about his co-stars? Let us know in the comments below.
