Those of you who followed the big youtube makeup gurus back in the day will recognize the name Manny MUA, he rose to fame about the same time Jeffree Star did but didn’t get quite the press that Jeffree did, still, he had quite an impressive following at one point until his cancellation a few years ago and he still has quite an impressive youtube following at 4.85M subscribers.
However, he recently announced on his TikTok that he would be entering his “villain era” and it was inspired by some comments that he had been receiving from people.
Manny MUA Announced He Is Entering His “Villain” Era
He said that he was tired of being the bigger person when people saw fit to drag him for his look. He had recently gotten a comment saying that the person wished that he realized that he was “not cute” and basically pointed out how if faces were currency then he was broke AF. (Not those exact words, but the basic gist of things.)
So Manny, after receiving a fair amount of those kinds of comments, it would seem, has decided to clap back. He said that somebody that kept coming for his looks must be “Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty” but said that when he clicked on their profile that “Aphrodite was not what they were giving.” the ultimate shade of it all!
So Manny has decided that now is the prime time to enter his villain phase. He said that if people can keep coming for his looks, he can clap back and he can go lower if need be. Honestly, the social media sphere is kind of in need of a villain since Jeffree Star has decided not to directly participate in drama anymore and if he’s going to serve up Disney Villain vibes then… why not eat it up?
Though, we did kind of think he started that phase a few years ago when he laughed at an autistic girl for no reason at a meetup. However it looks like now he’s just going to go straight-up Cruella DeVille, so we’re interested to see where this life decision will take him. Stay tuned!!!
