Anna Cardwell, who is best known for being Mama June Shannon’s daughter, recently announced that she was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. The cancer is very rare, but she has been receiving chemo treatments for weeks now.
She just completed the third round and wanted to give her fans an update on what has been happening, what has changed, and how she looks these days. She took to Instagram to share some pictures of herself with her boyfriend, Eldridge Toney. Let’s see what has changed.

Anna shared a photo of herself with her boyfriend and then captioned it, “Well going on to round three of chemo. Yesterday was a pretty good day, but we did get a little and Cracker Barrel was good going down but not up, but overall, it’s going good and chemo is working we come to find out.

So things are looking good.” Anna has been losing her hair and she seems to be in good spirits. Her boyfriend has been standing by her through all of this and they have been incredibly strong through it all.
Of course, her fans were quick to share with her how they felt about her update. Most of them were quick to show their love and support. One of them wrote to her, “You’re amazing!!
And so strong, Anna! You’re always in my thoughts.” She had a lot of “Get well soon” comments too. Another one of her fans wrote, “There are a whole lot of people out here wishing you the very best.”
The cancer that Anna was diagnosed with is adrenal carcinoma. It has been affecting her liver, kidneys, and lungs. Her chemotherapy began in March and she has been doing her best to try and stay positive through it all. Her family has hinted that they are much closer now that this has been going on in their lives.
The new season of Mama June: Family Crisis is looming and it has been questioned if Anna’s health story will be part of this season. It looks like June and her other daughters will continue to battle it out over her horrible behavior.
June made some choices years ago that led her youngest daughter, Alana Thompson to be adopted by her older sister, Lauryn Efird. This has been most of the focus of the show since it began. Keep an eye on WE Tv to see when the show will premiere.
