The fifth season of Love Is Blind has ended and the reunion just aired on Netflix. Fans of the series were very excited to see all the drama unfold. One of the cast member, Aaliyah Cosby had a lot of questions for Lydia Velez Gonzalez.
It turns out that she and her ex-boyfriend, Uche Okoroha hide the fact that they knew each other in the past from Aailyah. Uche made claims that Lydia knew that he was going to be on the show. Now that the reunion has aired, perhaps we can all find out why this rumor spread.

When the reunion began, Aailyah decided to start in right away on Lydia. She told her, “You told me you and Uche discussed coming this show. I think everybody wants answers. Just be real.” Lydia told her, “I’m not babying you.” Aailyah then talked more about her issues with Lydia.

She added, “I set my boundaries with Lydia… and she didn’t respect my boundaries. I didn’t think they were going to be continued to be respected throughout and that’s not the type of situation that anyboyd should have to endure going into an engagement… I didn’t get that respect I was requesting multiple times.”
Fans noticed very quickly that Uche decided that he wasn’t going to attend the reunion. However, Lydia said, “In terms of Uche and I, we had a conversation of two seconds in November of 2021. We said, ‘Oh yeah, I saw the casting, Oh yeah, I did too,’ and that was it. I had, and I’m going to make it really clear for the public, for everybody, I had no confirmation that Uche was going to be there… If I had that power, he would’ve not been there 100%.”
Lydia was more than happy to explain how happy she is with her new husband, Milton. Lydia is truly in love with Milton and she is so glad that their story had a very happy ending. They seem incredibly happy and she and his family have become very close now that they are married.
It turns out that Aailyah is seeing a new man and she couldn’t be happier with him. It was very interesting that Uche decided to not show up to the reunion, but everyone has their own reasons for not wanting to be back on the reality television show. There was a lot to dive into and of course, drama and tension ensued.
