When Stacy brought Izzy home to meet her family, there were a lot of fans who commended her father on the way that he approached Izzy. There were also more that felt as if he was too harsh to her fiancé. During the latest episode of the show, it came out that Izzy is having some serious financial hardships, but working his way to get back on his feet.
Stacy’s father, Dale, was happy about meeting Izzy, but it is clear that he has a lot of doubts about their relationship and future marriage. He asked him about children, travel, and money and Izzy tried to answer his questions with all of the right answers.
However, Dale didn’t seem as if they were the right answers. When the two men broke off from the rest of the family, Dale told him, “I mean, it’s a lot. But the whole love is blind, I get that. But love also needs to eat, love needs to have a roof. Sometimes love wants to fly first class. I love Stacy to death, but she likes to do things.”
As soon as this scene aired, fans of the show were quick to share what they thought about Dale. One wrote, “LMAO Stacy’s dad is brutal!”
