During the second season of Love Is Blind, Nick Thompson and Danielle Ruhl connected on a very deep level without ever laying eyes on the other. Daniele was smitten and she knew that Nick would be the man that she would spend the rest of her life with.
They ended up getting married on the show and they seemed to be doing very well in their marriage. However, as soon as the show was over, they announced that they were getting a divorce. They were married for less than two years when they called it quits.

The split was very messy and the two of them were not their best selves on social media. Just when things looked bleak for these two, Danielle had opened up about how she acted during their divorce. She apologized over and over again and then they showed up together on social media.
This led fans to believe that they had gotten back together. Now they are back again and hanging out together to talk about the show and the mental health struggles they have gone through.

As much as fans want to see them get back together, right now, they are working on their friendship. They recently appeared together on his podcast, Eyes Wide Open.
She shared some of her part on Instagram and said, “Nick and I got together to discuss our experience pre-show, during show, and post show. It is an emotional conversation that we are excited to share with you.” Nick replied to this saying, “Such a powerful message in the caption. and❤ to you for normalizing these feelings.”
When Nick shared the clip, he captioned it, “In this episode, we kick off with our reconnection story after not speaking for months and how it felt to be associated together again in the media after whistleblowing about our treatment during production.”
Danielle has been very open about how the cast was treated while they were on the show. It seems that their mental health suffered greatly and there was a point where she asked the producers if she could leave and they would not let her.
She told them that she wasn’t mentally sound to be on the show, but the pushed for her to keep doing it.
These two may be working on their friendship, but their fans were very happy to see them together again.
