Lo Bosworth has spoken on the struggles that she has had in recovering from her brain injury.

In an interview with E Online, Lo expressed some doubts about whether she would ever get back to her old self. She said: “I would say I have 85 percent improvement from where I was. I’m not sure if it’s going to get any better than it is now.” The difficulties were compounded by the fact that Lo did not reveal her problems to anyone. In hindsight, she could have been a bit more open, but would that have made a difference?

It is tough to say what she should have done, but her decision was understandable. She expressed how people misunderstood that she was ill given the normalcy she was showing in her life. She added: “Maybe I felt like the severity of it was not valid enough. It’s very challenging when you look OK on the outside, but you’re not OK on the inside. If I had not been through this experience, I probably would also think, ‘You look fine.”

“I’ve asked you out to dinner three times. Why can’t you make it?’ People were like, ‘What’s wrong with you?” Despite the struggles that Lo has been experiencing, she now has her family and friends by her side. That has led her to improve her health, not just in her diet but also with physical exercises. Her Instagram posts have testified to that fact as she recently posted a video of herself working out at home. The benefits have been noticeable, as Lo would go on to outline.

She continued: “I have learned to just push through the discomfort because I realize how much better I feel on the other side of that workout.” And she signed off the interview by stressing her mission to get back to her best: “I have the grit to continue to move forward. That’s who I am as a person. I don’t like to be stagnant.” It is clearly a difficult time for Lo, but rest assured her fans will be there every step of the way with her.
