‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ spoilers find that star Lisa Rinna’s daughter Amelia Gray says that she almost had a near death situation because of a serious nipple infection three years ago. In fact, the aspiring Instagram model says that she underwent breast reduction surgery after a bad fall at a party. Here’s what she has to say.
In an interview with The Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast, Amelia recalled a wild trip to Coachella that left her in a very dire situation.

She said, “I was at Coachella one year and I had a nipple piercing. I was living my best life with my friends and there is a balcony without a railing. And I really want this fried chicken sandwich that’s being passed around. I’m going to grab the fried chicken sandwich and someone pushes me. I’m high up and there’s nothing to stop or save me. So my leg falls into a crack and my nipple piercing gets caught.”
After the incident, Amelia says that her mother Lisa forced her to go back to school the next day because she didn’t believe the story she told her about her fall. However, it didn’t take very long for Amelia to develop some serious symptoms, including an extremely swollen breast and a 104-degree fever.
“I was 16 and had mastitis. It was the worst thing I’ve ever been through,” Amelia admitted. “I went to the emergency room. They told me, ‘You have a kidney infection.’ I didn’t have a kidney infection. [I] had to go to [Cedars Sinai’s] special disease doctor and he was like, ‘Yeah, you have strep in your left breast.’”
Amelia also said that her doctor told her she was going to die in 12 hours After she developed her infection in her breast, she nearly went into sepsis.
“The nipple piercing being pulled caused a small abrasion in my body,” Amelia continued. “I already had the strep living in my system and then it went to that part of my body because it was an open wound.”
“I’ve never talked about this but I had to fully get surgery. I had to get a breast reduction,” Amelia added.
