Lifetime ‘Married at First Sight’ (MAFS) spoilers finds that the wait is over. Decision Day for season 10’s MAFS couples aired last night. Overall, fans were not surprised by the results. We have the nitty-gritty details of each couple’s fate down below.
Jessica Studer & Austin Hurd: Jess and Austin had a glowing start to their marriage compared to the other four couples on the show. They seemed to be on the same page about everything, save for a few hiccups. Jessica’s main worry was that Austin would not reciprocate when she said, “I love you.” Fortunately enough, Austin said, “I love you” to Jessica on Decision Day, and the couple committed to remain married.

Taylor Dunklin & Brandon Reid: Between lashing out at the production team multiple times, to snapping at Taylor over and over again, Brandon doomed this relationship from the start. After Brandon’s refusal to be filmed for the rest of the season, Taylor was shocked that he actually showed up for Decision Day. Although Brandon had previously promised that their relationship would improve once the cameras weren’t around, Taylor was finished. “With all the things that transpired, it might not be the best for us to try to continue,” she said. The couple is now divorced.

Michael Watson & Meka Jones: Oh, the many lies of Michael Watson. Throughout the season, Michael has lied about his employment status, among other things. The couple were on the fence going into the finale. Neither Meka or Michael wanted to quit prior, and Michael was surprisingly accountable on Decision Day. He opened up about how his actions have been detrimental to the marriage. Unfortunately, Meka felt, “There’s been too much deception… I still don’t feel like I know who my husband is.” She then told the experts she wanted a divorce.
Katie Conrad & Derek Sherman: Though Katie & Derek’s chemistry sparked in the beginning, the flame faded quickly. Derek did not live up to Katie’s high expectations, and she instigated arguments often. Derek had never been in love before but wanted to try with Katie. He said on Decision Day, “I want to stay married…because I do believe I can fall in love with you.” Katie replied by saying she didn’t feel 100% but that she would keep trying. The couple decided to stay married. However, leaked news tells us that decision doesn’t last long.
Zach Justice & Mindy Shiben: This couple parted ways well before Decision Day. Zach had difficulty committing and refused to move in with Mindy. Awfully enough, Mindy discovered that Zach had been privately texting her best friend. Fans wondered if Zach and Mindy would take part in the finale at all. Decision Day was their first time interacting since the break-up. Zach tried to save face by stating, “I do think you came into my life for a reason.” In response, Mindy said her decision to leave Zach was a huge relief for her. The reunion special airs Wed, 4/22, on Lifetime, and we can’t wait to see the updates these couples have to dish out!
