Throughout Season 10, Taylor Dunklin and Brandon Reid developed a volatile relationship. It was no surprise that they chose to divorce. Brandon was not present for the reunion show, expectedly, as he showed contempt for the cameras in the past.
After the cameras stopped rolling, Taylor and Brandon had a nasty dispute at a bar. The fight got serious enough that they were arrested, leading to restraining orders on both sides. Brandon and Taylor give completely different accounts of the details.

Taylor says that she went to the bar not realizing that Brandon would be there. She claims she spotted him and exited immediately. Then, allegedly, Brandon saw Taylor, followed her out of the building, and began taking photos of her. An altercation ensued.
From Brandon’s point-of-view, he filed a police report stating that Taylor showed up with another guy to a bar she knows that he frequents. Brandon asserts that Taylor pushed him and then lied to the police saying he attacked her. During the reunion special, Taylor said, “He got a restraining order on me three days after I got one. He can’t be close to me, which is what I want. And I don’t plan on going near him.”

After Brandon and Taylor spent the night in jail, some of the cast attended their court hearing. Katie Conrad, Mindy Shiben, and Meka Jones sided with Taylor. On the other hand, Michael Watson, a close friend of Brandon’s, felt Taylor instigated the argument.
“I think there’s blame on both sides,” Michael told host Kevin Frazier. “According to the evidence I heard in court, there was an altercation at the bar that I don’t think Brandon initiated.” Michael was questioned for defending Brandon and ended up leaving the room in a fury.

Soon after choosing to stay married, Katie Conrad told Derek Sherman she wanted to be friends. The couple even slept in separate bedrooms. Katie then revealed to Derek that she cheated on him with her ex-boyfriend, the one Derek felt in competition with during filming.
“Katie made it really easy not to fall in love with her,” Derek divulged. The couple is now divorced. Looks like the rumors were true! Apparently, Derek heard from multiple sources, including an unknown MAFS castmate, that Katie slept with her ex after their honeymoon. Katie rejects this accusation.
