Less than a month after being criticized for thoughtlessly vacationing during the coronavirus pandemic, Jamie opened up to Instagram followers on video as she waited in her car at a drive-thru COVID-19 testing center. Jamie started the video in tears. “I feel really ridiculous crying,” she confessed.
Jamie chose to get tested after supposed doctor’s orders. “This is like a nightmare. It really is,” said Jamie in-between sobs. If Jamie tests positive, she will be isolated from her newborn baby in its first weeks of life.

Jamie then expressed guilt for staying home when many pregnant women are on the frontlines helping others during this crisis. She wrote, “Honestly, I’m an RN and should be out there helping too but instead I’m safe inside. Which I justify with being pregnant but there are *so many* pregnant women going into the battle zone daily! They’re the real heroes!!!!”

Jamie wrote, “I had planned on… CELEBRATING the fact that I’m full term but honestly, right now I’m in such an emotional rut & smiling for a cutesy pic is the last thing on my mind.
