‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ spoilers find that Kanye West has been devastated by his divorce from Kim Kardashian but in attempt to overcome it, he has been looking to get back to some much-needed work.
‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Spoilers: Kanye West Looking To ‘Throw Himself Into Work’ To Get Over His Divorce
A source told Us Weekly that the rapper has been severely impacted by the outcome: “Kanye has been trying to throw himself into work the past few weeks, but it’s been hard to stay focused with the split weighing on him, but [he] knew it was coming. Kim was always Kanye’s dream girl — even before they got together — so the thought of her not being his wife anymore is a lot to take in.
Whether it’s the best decision for their family or not.” Kanye’s struggles are no surprise, given that he has suffered from mental health problems in the past. This prompted Kim to publicly address it for the first time. Speaking at the time, she said:
“Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behaviour know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor. People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try.
“He is a brilliant but complicated person who, on top of the pressures of being an artist and a Black man, who experienced the painful loss of his mother, and has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is heightened by his bi-polar disorder.” Kayne, in response, was outraged. He said:
“Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up like on the movie Get Out because I cried about saving my daughter’s life yesterday. If I get locked up like Mandela, Y’all will know why.” And the breaking point for the couple occurred at the back end of last year, as Kayne and Kim had a huge fight. Insiders said at the time:
“Kanye blew up at Kim, and she was really upset. Things between them don’t seem to have healed since that,” while another said: “[It] was only a matter of time. She didn’t just walk away. The comments about North and the abortion were the final confirmation. She will protect the children first, always.”
