King Charles arrived early this morning for Easter Service at Windsor. This morning was his return to public life, and he generally seemed to be in good spirits.

Charles Was Touched To See Everyone There For Him

Charles was diagnosed with cancer and has been undergoing treatment. He hasn’t attended royal engagements since he began treatment. However, his doctor gave him the all-clear to participate in Easter Mattins Service.

His Majesty was very touched to see everyone there for him, and he smiled as he greeted his many well-wishers. Many of them gave him messages of inspiration, like

“get well soon,” “keep going strong,” and “never give in.”

Charles and Camilla have been planning to attend church at St. George’s Chapel for weeks. The service included traditional Easter messages about Jesus and his resurrection.

The service ended with God Save the King. After Easter Mattins Service, His Royal Highness went to see his supporters and greet the other members of his family who were in attendance.

Some of these members included Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson, Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie, and Queen Elizabeth’s youngest grandchild, James.

Prince William, Kate Middelton, and their children, Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte, were absent.British Royal Family News: Prince William And Kate Middleton (Duke & Duchess of Cambridge) Defy Quarantine Measures To Visit Ambulance Service Call Centers and Kate’s respective cancer diagnoses has sent shockwaves across the globe.

This morning, Prince Andrew led the royal family into the chapel, as he is the closest in the line of succession to the other royals.

During the service, the King took his place in the Sovereign’s Seat while the rest of the royal family sat in the stalls.

Camilla Gave Out Maundy Coins On Behalf of Charles

Charles and Camilla did not attend the reception or host the private family lunch. His doctor told him to take it easy while he was recovering.

A palace source said that the King’s attendance is a

“sign that things are headed in the right direction.”

Camilla made history at the Maundy service on Thursday, becoming the first royal consort to participate in the centuries-old tradition of giving away Maundy money.

She stepped in for the King, as he couldn’t make it to the service, which took place at Worcester Cathedral. The Royal Maundy Service was very special to Queen Elizabeth, as she attended almost every year during her 70-year reign.

Even though King Charles couldn’t attend, he recorded an audio message, which was played for the congregation.

“Ladies and gentlemen, it is, for me, a great sadness that I cannot be with you all today.,” the monarch explained. “The Maundy Service has a very special place in my heart. It has its origin in the life of Our Lord, who knelt before his disciples and, to their great surprise, washed their travel-weary feet. And, as we have just heard, in doing so, he deliberately gave to them and to us all an example of how we should serve and care for each other.”

Those who attended Easter Mattins earlier today said that the King looked well. He was happy to talk to engage in small talk with his supporters. Easter service marked the first time in months that King Charles attended a royal event.

Well, tell us what you think about the King. Considering what he has been through, he looks relatively well. We know that family means everything to the royals, and we all look forward to better days and good health for them. Visit us at Daily Soap Dish for news about the royal family.
