Kate Middleton Will Not be Rushed or Pressured Into Sharing Private Details
A close friend of the couple says,
“They will want to be clear and more open, but they’ll do it when they feel ready. I would expect that to be her instinct and it will be her call. They’re not going to be rushed.”
The source explained that Kate isn’t going to allow herself to be pressured into talking about her medical details or bullied to reveal her private business.
They continue to say,
“What is happening is exactly what they said would happen. She would spend two weeks in hospital and be back after Easter. So what if they haven’t pushed her out there to wave from the back of a car? She’s not a show pony.”
The source also said that the couple is most open when they are out at royal engagements, and it is likely that Princess Catherine will use that time to address her absence from the public then.
Kate is also looked at differently than most women, they said.
“In Kate’s case, there is almost nobody else in the world whose face, body, and clothes are more judged than hers.”
The Mother’s Day picture was meant to reassure the public that she is recovering and doing well, and it was supposed to be a gesture of thanks to the public for their ongoing support.
