Kim Kardashian has responded to criticism over her ‘Beyond Meat’ advert by confirming that she did eat the plant-based product that was advertised.

The Kardashian’s commercial went viral for all the wrong reasons. Her endorsement of a plant-based burger was characterised by accusations that she did not eat the product. This was on the grounds that the footage did not actually show Kim biting the meat.
As a result, a certain subset of people began to question the Kardashian’s credibility. Thus, the perception was that Kim was doing this simply for a quick paycheck. One person at the time had remarked the following: “You didn’t show her actually consuming the product…Did she actually eat it?”
But any doubts about this have now been put to bed, with some father footage of Kim being released. In the video here, we can see that Kim is tucking into the burger. The post was captioned with the following comments: “Guys, come on.”
Now that we know that Kim had eaten it, what were her impressions of the product? Well, rather well, as she admitted enjoying the taste and was impressed with the overall product. With that being said, she followed that up with the following comments: “Getting rid of some of the carbs. So good.”
Despite this being cleared up, fans could not believe that this had become an issue in the first place. This was due to the fact that Kim would have had to cut scenes out of the advert. Not only that, but if she did not actually taste it, then she could not have endorsed it.
One person wrote: “Do people expect her to open her mouth mid eating so we know it’s real? Like wtf go get a life.” Now that this is over, fans can have confidence in Kim and her product. And who knows, that may drive up some of her sales. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this?
