It is no secret that the rapper has been having issues with the company. His current brand deal is set to run out in 2026, with huge question marks over whether it will last until then. This was in response to the rapper’s recent anti-Semetic social media scandal which has now left his current deal under ‘review.’
But his latest antics of showing a porno at a meeting will not have helped matters. In the clip here, we can see that Kanye is sitting with two Adidas executives. Their faces have been blurred out, while Kanye can be seen holding a phone.
One person is heard saying the following: “Is this a porn movie?” as Kanye replied: “Yeah.” This caused one of the people to then state: “Jesus Christ.” On the face of it, it is not clear why Kanye had done such a thing.
But he went on to justify it in the most bizarre of ways. Ye made a comparison between the porno movie and the company by describing how the film was about a story of a man cheating. Therefore, Kanye appeared to be bashing the company by making it clear that he was not happy with how things were operating.
His following comments confirmed as much: “You guys have done wrong by the company, by the business and by the partnership…What you’re feeling right now is extreme discomfort, and that is exactly the point because when someone steals this man’s ideas, his creations.”
The fans on social media blasted Kanye over his conduct. A significant proportion felt that regardless of how the rapper was feeling, this was clearly inappropriate. One person wrote: “U dont show up to a meeting and stick porn in their face no matter what the situation…its just disgusting.”
