Kanye West has done a lot in his music career, though over the last year years, he’s been trying to step into the political space. This has been met with both sides of the aisle with mostly ridicule as West is not what some would say “on the inside” of politics.
The rapper has famously been spreading his presidential campaign hopes around social media and has even shared images of people writing in his name! Call it what you want, but it’s kind of amazing that people are actually voting for “Ye”.
To take things further, he even has a new presidential ad out of him speaking in front of a waving flag. He speaks mostly about family and how important it is, which most of us can agree with. However, he takes a further by bringing faith and religion into it, and this caused much controversy. Take a look at his ad below from his twitter page.

Many have voiced their opinions in the comments, “Trump and Biden: – Old – Racist – 33 rape allegations (25 and 8) Kanye West: – 43 years old (young) – Not racist – 0 rape allegations – 21 Grammys – Greatest Hip Hop Artist of All Time You know the right choice.”, “This is divisive in so many ways but we expect nothing less than things presented in true Ye form. This is definitely aiding in #45 re-election plans. To laugh this the day before early voting is strategic.”, and “dont waste your vote on him”.
It’s obviously caused quite the outrage, and all things considered, it’s kind of funny. Funny how someone can walk in the middle of Trump and Biden and get a vote because he’s the “Greatest Hip Hop Artist of All Time”. Welcome to the United States in 2020.
