Kanye, for his part, was recently canceled from two major music ceremonies. Not only was he not allowed to perform at the Grammys, but the rapper had also pulled out of headlining at Coachella 2022 on the back end of a viral petition which demanded that he be removed.
And as a way for him to maintain cordial relations with his ex Kim Kardashian for the sake of his children, it seems that Kanye is willing to get the help he needs to be there for his kids. A source said: “West’s team has been looking at treatment facilities for him.
“He wants to enter a behavioral treatment center to be a better human and a better dad.” If these comments are taken to be true, then they are very significant for the following reasons. First of all, they demonstrate that Kanye could potentially be having a nervous breakdown.
It is no secret that he has struggled with bipolar disorder in the past, which was partly the reason why he had made so many public outbursts even during the course of his relationship with Kim.
Secondly, what does this revelation mean for Kanye’s ‘relationship’ with Chaney Jones? Will the latter stand by the rapper, who is clearly not in a good place? The response from the fans on social media was mixed. A certain subset of people welcomed the fact that Kanye was willing to change himself.
Meanwhile, others were of the view that no amount of treatment would be enough to rehabilitate the rapper. One fan wrote: “Even if he does enter somewhere he’s damaged for life lol.” Kanye has to ultimately do what is right for him.
