Kanye West has not been charged after accusations that he punched a man who wanted an autograph.

Kanye West Escapes Criminal Prosecution After Allegedly Punching Man

According to reports, the incident was alleged to have occurred on Thursday, 13th January 2022. But given that the man had allegedly been following Kanye at three locations, as well as following the rapper at his hotel, this was seen as an invasion of personal space.

With that being said, Kanye will not face any criminal prosecution as his legal team were delighted. Michael Goldstein, who happens to be Kanye’s attorney, had this to say: “We are satisfied with this resolution as it recognizes my client did nothing wrong.”

Looking back, Kanye will be relieved at such a verdict especially given how things played out at the time. The following video clip shows Kanye allegedly shouting at a woman, as the man in question is on the ground.

And as things were clearly heated in the aftermath, West was alleged to have said the following: “Get away from me! Ain’t no hands, ain’t no hands.” But after having reviewed all the evidence, there was not enough to hold West liable.

In an official statement given on behalf of the LA City Attorney’s Office, a representative stated the following: “After a thorough and careful review of all the evidence, our office is declining to file based on no reasonable likelihood of conviction.”

The fans on social media were not surprised by the outcome. This was on the grounds that Kanye was a wealthy individual, as the billionaire was bound to have had a good chance of getting off. One person wrote: “Rich and prominent people are always right.”

Now that this incident is over, Kanye will be looking to put it behind him by moving on as soon as possible. And that is the most important thing to remember going forward. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below
