If Kanye West attempts to sell his “White Lives Matter” shirts in America, he risked further embarrassing himself. since that expression has already been protected by trademark, and guess what? Owning it are two black males. The hosts of the radio program Civic Cipher, Ramses Ja and Quinton Ward, received legal ownership of the term last month. stating to CNN that the main concern is preventing it from falling into the wrong hands

The use of those terms on garments for sale is covered by the trademark.

An anonymous Ramses and Quinton’s racial justice program listener registered the trademark, filing it the same day Ye wore his contentious costume to Paris Fashion Week. A few weeks ago, the listener gave their show new ownership. Ramses and Quinton acknowledged that choosing to take the trademark was difficult but added, “Once it was clear that someone stood to gain significant profit from it, because as you’ve seen, even though (Kanye) says some really hurtful, divisive and sometimes crazy things, he has a bit of a zealot following and every time he releases something, it sells out.”

As we previously reported, prior to his anti-Semitic outbursts, Kanye was stirring the pot. Candace Owens joined him in wearing the “White Lives Matter” hoodie at the beginning of October’s Yeezy fashion presentation. It looks like he just keeps digging himself deeper and now his behavior has affected his school Donda Academy. They have closed, reopened, been dropped from tournaments and had teachers quit over all of this.

Ye is free to do as he wants, but he certainly is feeling the repercussions of his actions we’re not sure he’s gaining any new fans from all of this talk.

What do you think? Are you still a fan of Ye and do you think there’s a chance that he will have a comeback after everything that has happened? Let us know in the comments below.
