Justin James Watt was just released by the Houston Texans. This has come as a surprise to a lot of NFL viewers. The 31-year-old defensive end maybe towards the back half of his career and has made $100 million during his career.

Money may not be much of an issue when he decides where he would want to go. Here are three possibilities that would make a good match for Watt to go.

    3.) Seattle Seahawks

Notable for drafting edge rushers, they’re currently still in need. After having J.J. Watt teammate Jadeaveon Clowney for a year and now trading for Carlos Dunlap, they could still use a dominant edge rusher that could be a team changer. The Seahawks still have a little over $4 million in cap space, so they’d probably have to make a move or two, but this could be a great spot for Watt to land.

    2.) Pittsburgh Steelers

This seems like it could have potential simply because of his brothers T.J. and Derek. They are both in the Steel City and finished 12-4 this season. The toughest part about this spot would be the cap space, as Pittsburgh doesn’t have much wiggle room. Even if money isn’t a big deal for J.J. it’d still be right.

There’s a lot that could go right with Pittsburgh, but there seem to be too many money hurdles in the way.

    1.) Buffalo Bills

If Watt wants that ring, this may be a good spot for him to go. Buffalo has quickly turned around their franchise with Josh Allen at the quarterback position and made it back to the playoffs again and one win away from going to the Super Bowl.

Watt could create a great tandem with Jerry Hughes on the other end. With Sean McDermott’s defensive mindset, this could create a great landing spot for Watt.

    Bonus.) Tampa Bay?

Of course, there are plenty of rumors about the possibility of Watt joining Brady, Gronkowski, and Mike Evans in Tampa Bay, though I think that’s just a pipe dream. Honestly, though, J.J. could go to about any team in the NFL and fans would welcome him with open arms. He’s been a class act and is a hell of a person off the field as well, generating many fans across the country.
