Jeremy Clarkson is not holding back, especially when it comes to Meghan Markle. The television personality poked fun at the Duchess of Sussex on his night show, It’s Clarkson On TV by suggesting that she broke wind during her bombshell of an interview with Oprah Winfrey last month. Here’s what you need to know.
Clarkson started his show off by “unpicking popular TV events” and couldn’t resist referencing the Oprah interview, which has been viewed by more than 50 million people from around the world.

Minutes into his new show Jeremy said: “There was a moment where Meghan Markle seemed to – how can I put this politely – break wind.”
Clarkson then showed a clip of Meghan discussing a moment after her wedding to Prince Harry with Oprah responding.
“Sorry can we just hear that again because it really does sound like Piers Morgan had a point, her pants really were on fire,” Jeremy continued.
There was more canned laughter as he added: “Now I’ve had a note here from the legal department at ITV. They want it to be made plain that that was not a fart, I have no idea how they know that.
“But they want me to make it clear that the fart noise probably came out of Oprah’s mouth.”
During their interview, Prince Harry and MeghanMarkle told Oprah in their explosive interview that there were racial undertones at the palace. In fact, they said there were conversations and ‘concerns’ over how dark their son Archie’s skin would be while Meghan was still pregnant with her son.
Meghan also revealed she was so isolated and miserable as a working member of the British royal family that she had suicidal thoughts. However, when she asked for mental health assistance from the palace’s human resources staff, the duchess was told they couldn’t help because she wasn’t a paid employee.
