At least he’s got one fan that’s still standing behind him. There’s a new report that says Jennifer Lopez might be the only person on the planet that is not upset with Ben Affleck for the comments that he made about his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
In an interview with Howard Stern, Ben basically threw his ex-wife under the bus by suggesting it was their marriage that made him want to drink. Here’s what you need to know.

Apparently, Jennifer Lopez set the record straight about some rumours that suggested she was pissed at Ben Affleck for his interview with Howard Stern. She told People Magazine, “This story is simply not true. It is not how I feel. I couldn’t have more respect for Ben as a father, a co-parent, and a person.”
“Part of why I started drinking was because I was trapped,” the 49-year-old actor told Stern. “I was like, ‘I can’t leave because of my kids, but I’m not happy, what do I do?’ And what I did was [I] drank a bottle of scotch and fell asleep on the couch, which turned out not to be the solution.”
However, Ben later went on the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show to clarify what he said, as he thinks the internet had misconstrued his comments about Jen Garner.
“I was like, ‘What is this?’ … they had literally taken the conversation that I had had for two hours and made it seem as if I was saying the exact opposite of what I had said,” he shared.
“I had gone on and said how much we respect each other, cared about each other, cared about our kids and put them first and went through our stuff, and they said I had blamed my ex-wife for my alcoholism and that I was ‘trapped’ in this marriage — just made me out to be the worst, most insensitive, stupid awful guy,” he added.
