They say that distance makes the heart grow fonder but between these two, anything can happen. There’s a new report that says Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez will be forced to spend the next several weeks, if not also months, apart.
That’s because Ben will be spending a lot of time in Austin, Texas, where he is shooting his new movie, while Jennifer will be zig zagging between New York City and Los Angeles for her work commitments. Here’s what you need to know.
Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez Are About To Spend A Lot Of Time Apart
According to People, Ben made an effort to fly into the Big Apple to support Jennifer while she was performing at the Global Citizen Live event. Though the couple would like to be closer together, they’ve accepted that “this is their life together now,” a source tells the publication.
“Ben wanted to be by her side,” says the source. “They are always supportive of each other’s careers, and Jennifer was very excited to have Ben in New York City.”
The insider added that while they are both trying to make things work, they also can’t help but “gush about each other.” The tipster added, “Jennifer is as protective of Ben as he is of her. She is the happiest that she has been in along time.”
The couple rekindled their relationship this year after initially pulling the plug on their engagement back in 2004. The father-of-three told Adweek just last month: “I am in awe of what Jennifer’s effect on the world is. At most, as an artist, I can make movies that move people. Jennifer has inspired a massive group of people to feel they have a seat at the table in this country.”
He added, “That is an effect few people throughout history have had, one I will never know and one I can only stand by and admire with respect.”
He also added that Jennifer is a role model for women of color in the entertainment industry.
“All I can tell you is that I have seen firsthand the difference representation makes because I have seen, over and over and over and over, women of color approach Jennifer and tell her what her example as a strong woman and a woman succeeding and demanding her fair share in the business world means to them,” he noted.
