Jenna Dewan and her fiancé Steve Kazee have tragically announced the death of their dog Violet.
Jenna Dewan And Her Fiancé Announce The Passing Of Their Dog
The couple have had Violet in their lives for approximately three years. And given that they had forged so many memories together during that time, Violet became a valuable member of the family. That is why the passing has left everyone mourning.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Jenna shared a picture of herself with Violet as she is kissing her dog. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Our hearts are broken today as we mourn the sudden loss of our Violet Mae…Everyone who met you loved you, and it is one the greatest privileges of my life to have had the last few years with you.”
Steve, for his part, was also shaken by the news. He admitted how Violet filled a void in his life following the tragedies he had suffered. This was particularly true when his mother had passed away. As a way to get over that grieving, Violet gave him the much-needed healing that he was looking for.
In an Instagram post to his fans, Steve shared a picture of Violet panting and looking into the distance. The post included the following words: “Violet Mae Kazee 2012-2021…She was more than a best friend to me. She was my saviour. When I lost my mom, I truly didn’t know how I would survive. Along came Violet…we were soulmates.”
This is not the first time that the couple have experienced the heartbreak of losing a pet. In 2018, Jenna’s previous dog called Lulu had also passed away. The latter had been battling cancer for a prolonged period. Despite the best medical care in the world, it was not enough to save her.
In a social media post at the time, Jenna remarked: “To our sweet and fierce Lulu…thank you for being the best dog in the entire world and for fighting cancer for as long as you did. Thank you for your tireless love, protection and humour. Thank you for the adventures.”
