Jana Kramer is looking to get her divorce over the line with Mike Caussin without the need to instigate any drama.
Jana Kramer Wants To Have ‘An Amicable Divorce’
The singer, for her part, has been through the mill for the entirety of her relationship. Mike has no defence to the continual infidelity that he has engaged in. And Jana wants to move on as soon as possible. A source said: “It’s her goal that it will be an amicable divorce considering all that Jana has been through in the marriage.” Just like she had put others first throughout her marriage, she has decided to do that again.
But this time, it is for the sake of something better: her kids. She shared two children with Mike, and as they are at an early age, she wants to protect them from any fall out that Mike may want to start. The source added: “She only cares about being there and being present for her kids and doing what is best for them. She’s said repeatedly that they are all that matters.
“[She] want[s] to make sure their kids are raised as normal as possible despite their parents no longer living together.” Despite her positive outlook, she was left reeling from the divorce. It is understandable given how much she had invested into the marriage. She had forgiven his countless mistakes and even went on to marry him, knowing he had a tendency to cheat.
But thanks to a solid group of people, she is doing much better. The source continued: “[Jana] “is surrounded by friends who are helping her see that enough is enough.” And Jana’s fans have equally been there for her. When the news of her split broke, Jana was very vocal about the role of the fans in keeping her strong.
Unlike other stars who have someone else in charge of their Instagram, Jana prefers to interact with her supporters and get to know them. An insider noted: “She really connects with her fans on so many levels. Yes, she has family and friends to lean on, but she’s really leaned on the support of her fans.” Let us hope that Jana can move onto bigger and better things.
