Jana Kramer has reportedly called it quits with her husband Mike Caussin by deciding to file for divorce.

The duo had historically had a rocky marriage, and it came to the fore when Jana shared a picture of herself crying on social media. While she had admitted to fighting over trivial matters, the latest incident was a whole lot bigger. Mike had allegedly been unfaithful, and this was the final straw. A source said: “After fighting for the marriage for so long, she’s come to terms with the realization that his patterns were never going to change.”
By the looks of it, Jana is ready to move on with her life. And looking back, who could blame her? The duo began seeing each other in 2014, only to split shortly after Mike had cheated on her. Despite getting back together, Mike cheated on her once again. And yet, she still went ahead with a marriage in 2015. Another incident of infidelity followed when their daughter Jolie was barely a year old.
That is why Jana walked away. In a post to her fans on Instagram, she said: “As I try to make sense of a reality I never wanted to believe could be possible again, those words have now become a reality. I’ve fought y’all. I’ve loved hard. I’ve forgiven. I’ve put the work in. I’ve given everything I have, and now I have nothing else to give.”
Mike, for his part, has admitted to his mistakes previously. Although he did not detail what his faults were, he did acknowledge that his behaviour was not good enough. And given by what we know now, he was clearly in the wrong. In a previous interview with People magazine, Mike revealed: “I have and will continue to take the steps needed to change who I am as a person in order to be a better husband and father.”
Jana will take some time off for herself and look to the future. While the divorce process will take time, she has already begun recovering. She noted: “It’s time to heal. Thank you for all the love, heart, and support, in many ways, you have fought on this journey alongside me, and for that, I am grateful.”
