Jana Kramer has been left reeling in the aftermath of her split from Mike Caussin.
Jana Kramer Feels ‘Heartbroken And Distraught’ After Filing Divorce Proceedings
The pair have had numerous marital problems throughout their marriage since 2015, but her decision to file for divorce has not come without its consequences though. An insider revealed: “[Jana is] pretty heartbroken and distraught.” And yet, there could still be time for the couple to patch things up. We only have to look at their history in order to see why.
They had repeatedly broken up and reconciled after Mike’s repeated instances of infidelity. While that may be a reason for Jana to call it quits for good, she has shown in the past that she is willing to make it work. This, though, has been the final straw. The source added: “This time, she’s said it’s over for good. She wouldn’t have filed for divorce if she wasn’t serious about it.”
Things have been understandably more complicated by the presence of their kids. The duo share two children together: Jace and Jolie. As they are still at a relatively young age, they are unaware of what has happened. And Jana intends to keep it that way, as she is entirely focused on putting her kids first. The source continued: “Their kids are still pretty young and wouldn’t fully understand if they told them they’re separating.
“They want to make sure their kids are raised as normal as possible despite their parents no longer living together.” There is a feeling that Jana could be severely impacted by the divorce, with concerns over her mental health. Prior to the divorce papers being filed, she came out publicly on social media with a picture of herself crying.
In an act of desperation and call for help, there were clear signs that her mental frame of mind was not in a good place. Sources, however, reassured fans that she would be ok. The source noted: “She’s a strong woman who breaks down from time to time, but she’s said she tries to not let her kids see her weak side and see her having breakdowns. Her kids are her world, and they truly are what make her happy.”
