We knew it was going to happen! It hasn’t even been a full month yet and Jamie Spears was caught in court asking for access to daughter Britney Spears estate plan.
Even after Judge Brenda Penney ousted him as her conservator and freed Britney Spears to do whatever she wants as per attorney and former federal prosecutor Matthew Rosengart, Jamie Spears had the pure, unadulterated nerve to ask for access to her estate plan and finances. Thankfully, that notion was quickly struck down.
Jamie Spears asks for ‘access’ to Britney Spears estate once more
Britney’s defense said that in any other case for any normal (meaning non celebrity) person that no one would be asking for her estate plan or for access to her finances and that is true, if Britney were still that young girl from Brentwood, who had perhaps just made it in local pageants and been on Star Search a couple of times when she was young as a one hit wonder or something, then her Dad would not be nearly as involved in her life and would certainly not be demanding to see her finances.
A lawyer for Jamie Spears spoke up and said “I think we should all start behaving like adults.” Yes indeed, it is time for Jamie Spears to start acting like an adult and stop asking for money that he did not earn and therefore is not entitled to.
We all saw this coming, we saw it coming from a mile away, we knew he was going to try and undermine Britney’s freedom and try to worm his way back in. Maybe he couldn’t do a full-on conservatorship anymore but he could definitely try and extort Britney for money.
We can only applaud the judge for striking down the motion and not giving him access to these accounts, but Jamie Spears has proven to be sneaky time and time again and no doubt he will try to gain access to Britney’s funds in the future, not to worry though, we’re sure that Matthew Rosengart won’t let anything happen to Britney’s money.
He’s said that everything to that end is safe and secure and Britney is now free to dictate what happens with her money on her own. Perhaps Jamie Spears should put in an application for a loan, I hear you can get good rates around Christmastime, the holiday rush and all. Stay tuned!!!
