Jamie Lynn Spears has denied rumours that her sister, Britney Spears, paid for her reported condominium in Florida.
Jamie Lynn Spears Denies That Britney Spears Bought Her A Condo
This would be a major turn up, given that Jamie has stressed that she has not financially benefited from Britney’s conservatorship. This would be unlike their father, who has reportedly pocketed $16,000 a month in order to carry out his duties.
But that has not stopped speculation that the sisters might be at war behind the scenes. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Jamie called out the haters for stirring up these unfounded stories. She said: “I don’t own a condo, and I can assure you that no one has ever bought me a place at the beach because I prefer my beach vacations [sic] at the Ritz anyway. Simple FACTS. Y’all need to stop reaching.”
So, where did this all originate from? Well, it all dates back to an interview that Britney had given in the past. It is there where she admitted to going to a condo in order to carry out her work. And given by her following comments, it does look to be an expensive place.
Naturally, fans believed that this was the place that Jamie had apparently been hanging out in. In a prior interview with CMT news, Britney revealed how she was happy to be able to have this place for work.
She stated: “I host everyone at our condo.It can sleep about ten people. We all have breakfast together, I plan a big dinner, and we have a space at the beach. And when we write, there’s no pressure…It’s hard to call that work.” Regardless of whether Britney has been helping Jamie financially, reports indicate that the two are still on very good terms.
This is despite the backlash that Jamie had been getting from the fans. She had been accused of not being vocal enough by supporting Britney through the years. Nevertheless, Jamie has been on hand to help Britney behind the scenes.
Sources confirmed as much: “We don’t see or hear about every little thing she does, but she is there for Britney as her sister.”
