As we all know, for tge last 13 years Britney Spears has been under a conservatorship ran by her Father, Jamie Spears, starting in 2008.

However, in spite or Jamie’s claims that Britney was like a coma patient and couldn’t advocate for herself we’re slowly finding out that this guy has successfully gaslit the entire world into believing that his daughter was sitting in her room drooling into a cup except when it came time to perform and only then would she come alive and be able to perform her on stage duties.

    Can Britney get paid back?

But in June of 2021 the truth came to light when Britney testified before a judge how abusive and controlling her conservatorship actually was.

During her testimony she detailed how in spite of being drugged to the point of speaking in “parallel universes” (according to a bodyguard’s claim) and feeling like she was drunk as a result of being put on lithium because she had said no to doing a dance move, she was still expected to choreograph entire routines and she was still expected to “roof and feed” everyone because just because she was on psych meds didn’t mean that the bills stopped.

On top of that, she is also expected to pay both hers and her father’s legal fees as of right now, which does not make sense at all.

The question is, could Britney possibly get any of that money back? Maybe, but it wpuld be difficult to prove to a judge.

Right now, it looks like Britney is just after her freedom, not necessarily her monetary compensation,  but if she did decide to go after that, then lawyer Matthew Rosengart would have to prove that Dad Jamie Spears is guilty of somwthing called self-dealing and that is when a conservator writes themselves a blank check and basically says “This is my conpensation.” which is not something that you can actually, legally do, even if you are in charge of a conservatorship.

Right now, Britney just seems to be happy that she has the liberty of driving her own car back, a video that she posted on instagram with her and her boyfriend Sam Asghari in her car had her singing along with her own hit song “Lonely”, and she says she is happy with the direction that the court is proceeding in.

However, will she try and wrest her fortune back from her Dad? Something tells me that is the last of Britney’s worries, but honestly, she said that she had just begun to speak out about what she has been through so who know when and where this will actually end? Stay tuned!!!
