Jake Paul has returned to the win column, securing a victory over UFC legend Nate Diaz through a unanimous decision in an entertaining and engaging fight.
The battle kicked off with Paul taking the lead, dominating the initial round and delivering impactful punches. In the subsequent round, Diaz displayed improved performance, yet Paul maintained control. The third round also saw Paul maintaining dominance.
While Nate Diaz showcased some strong moments in the fourth round and even landed a powerful punch that snapped Jake’s head back, the round was less definitive, favoring Diaz. Jake regained command in the fifth round by sending Diaz to the canvas with a left hook.
Although Diaz recovered swiftly and withstood a barrage of punches from Paul, he managed to push forward and initiate his offense.
The fifth round marked the sole knockdown of the fight, while the remainder of the match remained closely contested. Nate Diaz demonstrated his renowned endurance in the later rounds, reaffirming his reputation for being exceptionally difficult to stop.
Jake Paul appeared fatigued at times during the later rounds, a potential outcome of his 10-round bout in only his eighth professional fight. Nevertheless, he never appeared seriously hurt and consistently maintained his punch output.
