Ivana Trump did what she want, and whenever she wanted to do it.  in an essay titled The Other Ivana, Guinness heiress and friend of Trump, Ivana Lowell, is opening up about her days with the socialite – the two attended rehab together many moons ago. Here’s what you need to know.

In her piece published by Air Mail, she says she was surprised to have met another woman named Ivana, and the two hit it off. When they left the rehab facility, Trump wanted to celebrate and decided a dinner party would be perfect. “Darling, tonight is going to be my treat. I am taking us all out to dinner,” Trump reportedly said. “There is a fabulous restaurant right on the water, and the food is divine. I think we all deserve a treat, don’t you?”

At the dinner party, a waiter approached with a bottle of champagne before Trump told him to fill everyone’s glasses. Lowell said, however, she told the group: “Look, I know how much we have all paid to be in treatment. If you touch that glass of champagne, it will be the most expensive drink you have ever had.”

According to Lowell, Trump had been in rehab due to “exhaustion.” The illusive Ivana was accompanied by a mysterious younger friend named Roberto. She did not attend one group or 12-step meeting. And insisted she be called Maria.

The businesswoman, who was married to former president, Donald Trump, was found dead in her New York City apartment earlier this month. It was later revealed she died of accidental “blunt impact” to the torso, and was thought to have fallen down the stairs.

Soon after her death was announced, the Trump family paid tribute to Ivana as a “wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life.” Her daughter Ivanka Trump said she was “heartbroken” and would “miss her forever.”

“Mom was brilliant, charming, passionate and wickedly funny. She lived life to the fullest — never forgoing an opportunity to laugh and dance,” the former presidential adviser wrote on Twitter. “I will miss her forever and will keep her memory alive in our hearts always.”

Donald Trump, meanwhile, announced the death on his social media platform Truth Social.

“I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City,” he said. “She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr, Ivanka, and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her. Rest In Peace, Ivana.”
