Meghan Had a Hit with “Suits”
The path toward having a Hollywood career has not been smooth for her. It might be due to the royals getting all the spotlight, but is she newsworthy without Prince Harry next to her?
Meghan had a significant hit with the legal drama “Suits” playing the character of Rachel Zane. The show was amusing and witty, and her acting was decent. Unfortunately, she hasn’t had much else going for her.
The Duke of Sussex is allegedly not keen on sticking around Hollywood to find out if Meghan has what it takes to make a real name for herself as an actress. Rumor has it he wants to go back to the UK.

“This is a great point made by one of Princess Diana’s closest friends. Harry is the only thing standing in the way of her big Hollywood comeback.”
It’s not clear that this is true. However, many experts think that Harry is interfering with Meghan’s brand. The statement from Richard Kay follows Harry and Meghan’s brief stint with Spotify and their waning deal with Netflix.
Harry has also won the right to take Associated Newspapers Limited to court. He has a case against the newspaper group, which includes British tabloids like the Daily Mail, MailOnline, The Mail on Sunday, and Metro.co.uk.
Allegedly, there has been some illegal information gathering on the part of these newspapers. This information includes bugging homes and cars, recording phone conversations, and fraudulently acquiring medical records.
The Press Originally Gave the Sussexes Favor
The impending trial will likely prove harmful for the Sussex brand. It will cost them a fortune. The press has also been generous to the royal family and gave Harry and Meghan significant favor during their “fairy tale” wedding.
It must be difficult for Meghan to promote her “The Tig” website amid all the rumors and news of the infamous royal family rift.
This is also not the first time Prince Harry went after the press. Harry had a lawsuit against News Group Newspapers and Mirror Group Newspapers, which publishes the Sun tabloid.
As far as Meghan’s acting career goes, she is a B-list actress and a one-trick pony trying to make it big. Allegedly, she has been criticized for casting calls for her inability to get into character.
It has also been inferred that the royal family took issue with some of her scenes in “Suits.” Understandably, Meghan may have decided she wouldn’t act if she couldn’t bring everything she had to the character.
Meghan left “Suits” after its seventh season. Her character married another one of the lawyer characters, and they rode off into the sunset together.
The Duchess stopped acting when she married Harry, which means she was content being a member of the royal family until things didn’t go her way.
Meghan’s image needs a significant overhaul if she is determined to resume her career.
