Fans have been noticing a disturbing trend on Hailey Beiber’s social media. It seems that she likes to copy everything that Selena Gomez does. Now, some might argue that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but considering that Haley used to be a pretty hardcore Jalena fan, it’s a little… strange.
Especially considering who she ended up marrying. (For those that are uninformed, Hailey ended up marrying Selena’s ex, Justin Beiber.) Her tweets from 2011 state that she was a pretty hardcore Jalena fan back then, so, one has to wonder why she was the one that ended up with Justin, if she wanted them to be together. Then again, in the words of a very famous Selena Gomez song, “The heart wants what it wants”… ahem.

If Selena posts about a song she likes, then Hailey will somehow put that song in her IG stories. Selena posted a picture with all four of her non-famous real-life friends on her Instagram and Hailey made it a point to follow each and every one of them and not only that but to hang out with each and every one of them individually.
It’s one thing to follow someone on social media because you like the vibe they give off, it’s entirely another to go seek them out in real life and try to be their new bestie… just what is she trying to do, exactly? She even started her own cooking show, ala Selena, on HBO, with similar openings and everything! Like… what?
It makes one wonder if there isn’t trouble in paradise in Jaley-ville. Is Hailey Beiber doing all the things that Selena Gomez does simply because she feels she can’t really compete with her so it’s a “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” situation? It’s really strange because Justin gave Selena a really unique-looking ring and Hailey got a tattoo of an almost identical design on her ring finger. Justin Beiber himself has remained quiet on the whole alleged feud between his wife and his ex, but then again, most guys do in these types of situations.
She even seems to use similar language in interviews to Selena! But lately she threw shade at her by including a song on her IG story that was “Calm Down” by Rema, a song that Selena has recently done a cover of and made famous, but Haley went out of her way not to use the version of the song by Selena Gomez, which some fans have interpreted as shade. Shady or not, something is definitely strange about this. We’ll keep our eye on it. Stay tuned!!!
