Monday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful may have just set the stage for a massive new war inside Forrester Creations. While Brooke spent the episode trying to convince Ridge that they should run the company together, the bigger issue is what Steffy is eventually going to realize behind all of it: this entire situation started with Hope.
And once Steffy finds that out, things could spiral fast.
The latest B&B spoilers already hint that Ridge brings Brooke’s shocking request to Steffy, and fans know there is no way she is going to quietly sit back while someone tries to take her co-CEO position away from her. But what could make Steffy even angrier is learning that Hope was the one who pushed Brooke to make this move in the first place.
Hope Basically Set the Entire Situation in Motion
During the May 11th episode, Hope openly admitted to Liam that she convinced Brooke to go after the co-CEO position. Hope made it clear she believes Brooke running Forrester alongside Ridge would completely change things for Hope for the Future and finally put her line back in a stronger position.
Hope knows Brooke has influence over Ridge, and she clearly believes Brooke stepping into power would shift the balance at Forrester away from Steffy. Brooke herself admitted she never wanted Ridge stuck between her and his daughter, but after Hope kept pushing, she eventually decided to make her move anyway.
By the end of the B&B episode, Brooke was fully pitching Ridge on the idea of them becoming the new “king and queen” of Forrester Creations while asking him to make her co-CEO.
The problem is that Steffy is eventually going to connect all the dots.
Steffy Is Going to See This as a Personal Attack
Up until now, Steffy has continued insisting that shelving Hope for the Future was simply a business decision. During Monday’s episode, she vented to Finn about Hope constantly accusing her of making things personal while refusing to accept the reality of the situation.
Meanwhile, behind Steffy’s back, Hope was actively trying to help Brooke take her position away.
That changes everything.
Once Ridge tells Steffy that Brooke wants to replace her as co-CEO, it likely will not take long before she realizes Hope played a major role in pushing this idea forward. From Steffy’s perspective, this is no longer just about disagreements over a fashion line. This will feel like Hope deliberately trying to push her out of power at her own family company.
And honestly, that is exactly the kind of betrayal that could send Steffy completely over the edge.
B&B Spoilers Hint This War Is Only Beginning
The newest B&B spoilers already show Steffy refusing to back down. She makes it crystal clear that Brooke is “not going to have my job,” and Ridge looks completely caught in the middle as the pressure builds around him.
But the real explosion may come after Steffy learns Hope helped orchestrate this entire power play.
At that point, this feud could become much uglier than anyone expected. Steffy already believes Hope constantly creates drama around Hope for the Future, but finding out Hope manipulated Brooke into going after her co-CEO position could take this rivalry to another level entirely.
And if Ridge seriously considers Brooke’s proposal, the fallout inside the Forrester family could be massive.
