Hoda Kotb has confirmed that she would not be following Jenna Bush Hager’s decision to not wear any underwear.

Hoda, for her part, realised that Jenna did not wear anything as she recalled sharing a dressing room with her, which made her aware of this. During the course of that process, Jenna made it absolutely clear that she had no shame in doing this, even if she was left a little embarrassed by Hoda sharing that with the public.
But given that they are co-hosts on the Today show, the audience got more than they bargained for. In her comments at the time, Jenna said: “It makes a more pretty silhouette! I also think you don’t have to pack as much. There’s a lot of pros to it!”
With that being said, it is not surprising then that Hoda had no intention of following into Jenna’s footsteps. This is particularly since she did not see the benefits of doing this. After all, since she does work in front of a camera, it is best to take precautions with clothing at all times.
There is always a possibility, even if it is very slim, that people can have wardrobe malfunctions. In response to Jenna’s revelation, Kotb remarked: “[It’s] gross. First of all, I’ll take the panty lines, OK? I know that’s what she’s worried about. What the hell? I don’t care. Who’s looking at our butts?”
The fans on social media could not help but make a running joke out of this whole situation. A significant proportion of the fanbase began to troll Jenna. And by the looks of it, the comments were very brutal indeed. One person wrote: “Well…her name is bush,” while another person stated: “Well the surname fits then.”
