Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might seem like they are two people who are always in the spotlight, even when they are not. In fact, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been on paternity leave ever since their second child, Lilibet Diana, was born back in June. And now it looks like Harry and Meghan are ready to get back to work by hitting the ground running as they’ve got a calendar full of meetings and projects ahead of them.
Author Omid Scobie, who co-wrote the book, “Finding Freedom,” recently opened up about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s plans in a new interview with Good Morning America.
Here’s What’s Next For Prince Harry And Meghan Markle After Their Paternity Leave
Scobie revealed: “We saw them jump from one big project to the next especially when they moved over to the US but they’re on parental leave at the moment enjoying that important family time from home.”
He added, “But we are about to enter a very busy period for the couple when they do return to work. We will see those first projects from Spotify, the Netflix project coming out and of course their own work from their charitable organisation Archewell. We know they’re at their best when they’re interacting with people.”
Scobie also suggested that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have no regrets about everything that has happened until this point, despite all of the difficulties they have faced, according to sources close to the couple.
Not only have they pulled the plug on their relationship with the royal family, but Harry and Meghan have also blasted the royals in several interviews, including their seismic one with Oprah Winfrey back in May.
In an extract in this week’s People Magazine, the book reads: “As difficult as recent years have been, sources close to the Sussexes say that neither Harry nor Meghan have any regrets about the decisions they have made. What started as a fairytale romance became a story that reinvented the genre – a self-made, independent woman playing an equal role alongside her knight.”
