When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle first got engaged, the former Hollywood actress was looking for an ally within the royal family. She was hoping for that ally to be her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.
But that never happened. Instead of showing her the ropes or becoming her guide at Kensington Palace, Meghan seemingly got the cold shoulder from the Duchess of Cambridge. This has prompted a lot of royal fans to ask: what does Meghan Markle really think of Kate Middleton?
Needless to say, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are barely on speaking terms these days, even though they are two people that should be very close, seeing how they share two roles that no one else in the world can relate to.

A lot of people were hoping that Meghan and Kate would become the next Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson in terms of friendship, but that never happened. While Diana and Fergie did become close sister-in-laws that could confide in one another, Kate has seemingly given Meghan the cold shoulder.
Some reports have even said that the Duchess of Cambridge made very little effort in trying to get to know Meghan or even help her in the beginning, simply because they have very little in common.
So, what does Meghan Markle really think of Kate Middleton? For starters, she’s probably disappointed in her. Meghan is the kind of person who values her female friendships and was hoping to build a great bond with Kate. The potential was there for the two of them to become great friends and allies.
But Kate simply had no interest in doing anything with Meghan unless she absolutely had to, which is something that Prince Harry’s wife can’t understand until this day. Could it be that Kate Middleton is jealous of Meghan, or perhaps even resents her? Maybe, but the only person who knows the answer to that question herself is Kate.
