HBO Star Andrew Callaghan Reacts After Two Women Accuse Him Of Sexual Misconduct

Two females released clips on TikTok in the beginning of this month in which they claimed that Callaghan pushed them into intercourse. A person named Caroline Elise declared that Callaghan stayed at her residence and kept asking to have sexual intercourse until she accepted.

In her comments, Elise said: “[He] eventually got my consent because he wore me down. It’s even more hard to have to relive the trauma that I endured every single day by seeing this man as a social justice warrior, as someone who cares about human rights, get a platform.

“You shouldn’t be supporting him.” According to a source that informed TMZ, Elise allegedly asked Callaghan for money, while bringing up the big amount of money he got from HBO for his documentary, before it aired. When Callaghan didn’t pay, Elise posted the clip on TikTok.

In the video, she asked others to come forward with their stories. After that, a woman named Dana said that Callaghan had pushed her into a sexual encounter after the first experience had been “mean” and “degrading”.

In her comments, she stated: “I told him to stop. I told him to get off of me multiple times. He tried to put my hand down his pants and I was fighting against him during this, telling him to please stop.”

With that being said, Andrew wanted to make it clear that consent was something that was important. In addition, he made it clear that conversations like this were paramount in order to educate people on such issues.

In an official statement on behalf of Andrew, his attorney said the following: “Andrew is devastated that he is being accused of any type of physical or mental coercion against anyone. Conversations about pressure and consent are extremely important.”
