Prince Louis turns 7 today as Kate Middelton shared an adorable picture of her son with a big toothless grin on his face to mark his birthday.
Behind Prince Louis in the photo, you can see a lush green background that shows it’s springtime. He’s surrounded by bluebells in the garden.
The Birthday Snap Of Prince Louis Was Compared To An Old Photo Of Prince William
The image was taken at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, the Wales family residence in Sandringham. This month, the picture was posted on William and Kate’s social media accounts.
The photograph is captioned, “Wishing Prince Louis a very Happy 7th Birthday!” Louis’s latest birthday snap has been compared to an earlier picture of Prince William taken at a Polo match in 1990; he was eight years old at the time and also missing a few teeth.
Louis has taken after his father, as old pictures of William show he was a bit on the cheeky side himself when he was a young boy.
The photographer snapped a photo of Louis, Josh Shriner, who had taken a picture of Kate and William’s Christmas card for 2023.
Prince Louis is fourth in line of succession to the throne as his older brother, Prince George, is in line behind his father.
Louis Arthur Charles Mountbatten Windsor was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in London on April 23, 2018. Louis’s public appearances have always been fun to watch.
Louis is known for his hilarious antics on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. He has often displayed goofy facial expressions and behaves mischievously.
One of the best photos of Louis was taken at Trooping the Color in 2022, as the boy covered his ears during the loud festivities at the event.
The past year has been challenging for the Wales family as Princess Kate underwent treatment for cancer. Thankfully, she announced in September that she’s now cancer-free.
William And Kate Want To Give Their Children A Normal Childhood
Much like his mother, Louis has taken an interest in photography. He has taken some fantastic photos of Kate in the past.
On World Cancer Day in February, the Princess of Wales released a photo of herself taken by Louis. He photographed her in her favorite element, which is surrounded by nature. She was on a walk in the woods in Windsor.
The message from Kate, which was captioned with a photo, said, “Don’t forget to nurture all that which lies beyond the disease.”
The birthday photo comes after the Wales family enjoyed a low-key Easter with Kate’s side of the family. William and Kate pride themselves on trying to give their kids as normal a childhood as possible.
The paparazzi were there to take photos of them. However, William and Kate managed to sneak into the church on Sunday. They avoided interaction with the press, as they protected their kids.
William and Kate love to play sports with their children and have said that Louis is a big fan of rugby. “They are at an age where they just love running around,” Kate once shared. She also admitted she loves to jump on the trampoline with the kids before school.
