The duo set the internet into a frenzy when they decided to get married in 2018 after dating for a period of three years. And the moment was extra special as the behind-the-scenes parts of the wedding were broadcast on Justin’s documentary entitled ‘Seasons.’
And yet, through all the moments of euphoria, rumours continue to persist that the couple are not getting on when the cameras are turned off. Hailey, though, sought to reassure any fans who were worried about the pair.
In an interview on the ‘4D With Demi Lovato’ podcast, Hailey said: “There’s so many narratives that float around about me, about him, about us together. There’s one big fat narrative that goes around that’s like, ‘Justin is not nice to her, and he mistreats her.’ It’s so far from the truth. It’s the complete and utter opposite.”
One of the reasons why people have suggested this is that the pair have been pictured in public when they have not been on the best of terms. However, it is natural to see that as every couple will have their challenges.
But when it comes to the pair, any mistake they make is automatically under the spotlight. But on balance, Justin has more good in him than bad.
Hailey added: “I really am lucky to say I’m with someone who is extremely respectful of me, who makes me feel special every single day. So when I see the opposite of that, I’m just like, ‘Huh?” That is why Hailey is not focusing on what the public has to say. This has been seen through speculation that the couple may consider having a baby.
While there is nothing new in that regard, Hailey did let slip that they could not be in a better place. And all this suggests that it is only a matter of time before they start a family.
She continued: “[We have] literally never been more obsessed with each other. [We have] so much fun together.” It is wonderful to see the couple staying strong in the face of such scrutiny.
